Some floral inspiration…

Back when I was planning my wedding day all I knew was that I wanted white flowers and foliage. I’d seen loads of ideas on Pinterest and Instagram and had a fairly good idea of the spaces in the venue I wanted to cover, but other than that I had no clue exactly what I wanted.

If you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed or unsure of what it is you actually want, have a read! Here are some suggestions and what could be achieved on your budget.

Bud vases

These are always a winner in my book! Clustered together on round tables, dotted along banquet style tables, on window ledges, memory tables…The possibilities are endless! They also pack a punch if you’re on a modest budget!

Starting from £9

Footed bowls

Romantic, classic and so worth the money! These are super popular and its obvious why. You could also mix and match with taller arrangements or tables with candles and foliage.

Starting from £80

Urns

I do love an urn. And you don’t always have to have a pair if the budget won’t stretch. A large urn placed in a church looks absolutely fabulous and can be moved practically anywhere after the ceremony. They look great placed on a large round table surrounded by welcome drinks!

Starting from £150

Cake table flowers

I think these are a great idea if you want a statement piece at the reception but perhaps an arch isn’t realistic in your budget. Either cascading down the cake onto the floor or framed on a hoop!

Starting from £95

Meadows

Another popular trend. These look amazing lining an isle and then moved in front of the top table later!

Starting from £85

Potted plants

I LOVE this idea! If you’re after a real cottage garden vibe this is a wonderful idea for that rustic touch! It’s super eco conscious and also means you can take home or or give away flowers from your wedding which will last well beyond the day. Whats not to love?

Starting from £15

I hope this has given you some ideas, and if you would like to chat about your wedding flowers I’d love to hear from you!
